With Lynne's varied background and extensive experience with inspections and training , high standards and people skills in this Industry the results Consistency , education on site and passing of State Restaurant Inspections.
She provides on site *in your restaurant* classes and exams for food manager certifications in which s,he is Prometric-proctor and National Registry as well, both are State approved. Lynne was on the Food Safety National Assessment Councli to assist in re-writing the exam in St. Paul, Minnesota(Prometric exam) which had only 30 companies in the U.S. on the committee. Education for the exam is exceptional and thorough in which participants will receive certification within approx. 1- 2 weeks of the class and exam being taken. The Manager Certification is good for 5 years and is accepted in all states in the U.S.Lynne Is an educator and trainer with heavy background and experience in safe food handling and food borne illness, and has a passion fo teaching this to others.
As the president and owner of Blue Sky Consultant, Inc. Lynne studied at UNF (microbiology) & AA Florida State College in Business Management. She offers over 28 years of experience in the restaurant industry. As a former" State Restaurant Inspector" with the Department Of Business and Professional Regulation she worked with the Division of Hotels and Restaurants in the State of Florida for 17 years as well as an Inspector with the State Fire Marshal for approximately 12 years dealing with electrical, plumbing ,L P Gas, mechanical(including hood & Fire suppression systems for kitchen equipment), fire safety laws and inspections. Lynne has worked & owned Blue Sky Consultanst, Inc. for 9 years now. She has provided her services to corporations, owners, contractors and architects ranging from "the ground up" construction to empty buildings resulting in over 4500 restaurants in the Northeast and all over the state of Florida being opened. *Please see photos and references of completed projects in the navigation bar to the right *I need to update project photos, (soon, under construction ).
Blue Sky Consultants, Inc. was just recently a guest to Channel 47 & Channel 30 news as a Restaurant Consultant and food safety expert interviews for 3 months with news anchor spokesperson and answering questions from the public on food safety. Lynne Has been guest speaker at Virginia College,culinary graduating chefs and instructors as well as many large groups for restaurants and Hotels such as Marriotte, Hilton, Rosen Resort, Dicks Wings & Grill, Metro Dine, Seasons of Japan, Latitude 30 etc .She has with Div. Hotels & Restaurant DBPR conducted dual inspections with epidemilogy , Dept. Of Agriculture & Dept. Of Natural Resources and Dept. Of Health for food borne illness investigations for public safety during her career.
Blue Sky Consultant, Inc. can also provide education to establishments that are "On Warning" and may possibly have fines being assessed to them. She can bring these issue's into compliance with the State DBPR with inspection/consultation/training. She will go even further to handle fines and final orders with hearing officers and meet with State Officials from Tallahassee or local inspectors for call back with your compliance inspection.
